The Mortgage Loan Process: an Overview

Step two: pre-qualify for your loan

This is where Marshall Lending can start to save you money. You will provide info on your current job, your assets, and your residence history. You'll supply information on your employment, asset, and residence history. We get your permission to run your credit score and report. We'll review all this info then will give you a letter of pre-qualification. Your REALTOR® should use your pre-qual (as they may call it) to make the best offer on the home you choose. While you're shopping for your new house with your real estate agent, we find the best program for you.

Step three: apply now! We make it easy

Once you have made an offer and the sellers have accepted, you should apply for the loan. It couldn't be easier, and you can do it online, right here on our website. At the end of this step, we will order an appraisal of your new home.

Step four: funding

The agents will find a title company to handle the "funding" and closing. We'll coordinate with this company to ensure all the papers your lender will need are in order, and you'll probably}likely sign everything at this company's officeWe do all the work to work with with this company on your date to close. Since you will not have to coordinate this process, you get to concentrate on moving logistics, paint colors, carpet, and all the details of getting your new home.
